about
This was my first ever time in a recording studio. It was in Cava studios Glasgow and the song was written by a guy called Ken Halley. My pal Jim Yule who was a well known guitarist and arranger asked me to come in and try a vocal for Ken's song 'Rainbow man'. Ken had written it for the Rolling Stones to record which was probably unlikely I thought but was happy to come in and do a Mick type vocal. Not sure of the line up of musicians but I think It was Jim on guitar, Cy Jack on bass, Robin (?) on keyboards and my old pal Ricky Green on drums. One musician I am certain was there was the legendary Mr Fraser Spears on moothie! Ah yeah get on down!
